Order Management

Every order, from checkout to delivery, in one queue

Website and POS orders land in a single order list. Staff confirm, fulfil and dispatch each order, and the full history stays on the customer record.

In short: The Vendors App order management is a fulfilment workflow: capture, status updates, delivery linkage and customer history.

Frequently asked questions

Can The Vendors App replace WhatsApp for my business?

The Vendors App does not replace WhatsApp as a communication channel. Instead, it gives your business a proper website and ordering system so customers do not have to depend on a DM to discover products, ask for prices or place every order. You can still use WhatsApp while directing customers to your website for browsing and checkout.

Can I sell both online and in person?

Yes. The Vendors App supports website sales and in-person sales through POS. This allows a business to serve customers who order online and customers who walk into the business while keeping sales and inventory within the same system.

Can I use The Vendors App if I only sell online?

Yes. You can use The Vendors App primarily for your website, online catalogue, inventory, orders, payments and delivery. POS is available for businesses that also need to record in-person sales.

What does my business website do?

Your website acts as your business's online storefront. Customers can visit it, browse your products, see prices and available options, add products to their cart and place orders through checkout. Orders are then available inside your Vendors App business dashboard.

Can customers add multiple products to one order?

Yes. Customers can browse your catalogue, add multiple products to their cart and complete them as one checkout order.

Can customers order from my website without creating a complicated account?

Customers can proceed through your storefront checkout using the information required for the order, including their contact and delivery information where applicable. The checkout experience is designed around completing the purchase rather than requiring customers to manage your business account.

Can I close my online store temporarily?

Yes. The storefront can be placed into a closed-store state when the business needs to stop accepting online orders temporarily. This is useful when you are unavailable, out of stock or need to pause online sales.

Does inventory update when I make a sale?

Sales and inventory are connected so that your available stock can stay aligned with transactions. This is particularly important when the same products are sold through your website and POS.
